Shopping this week

Now that I am into couponing and finding deals I now feel like Tuesday and Saturday nights are like Christmas Eve. Before you think I've gone completely crazy and become a shopaholic, let me explain. Sunday morning in the newspaper there are always free or pretty near free items that I could get through the week if I wanted to go through the effort to get them. Tuesday nights are the day before most of the new sales hit in the Utah county grocery stores, and so more free or nearly free items for me and my family. How is this possible you say? Well let me show you from Walgreens and Rite Aid this week what you could get for free or nearly free. This is a list from the Freebie Blogger's website- check her out- she rocks!

O.k now to explain a little coupon lingo within this. Starting from the top of the Walgreens ad:
SS- means Smart Source- this insert comes almost weekly in your newspaper.
RP- means the Red Plum insert that comes once or twice a month in your paper
WYB- When you Buy
Register Rewards- these are like a coupon for money you can only use at that particular store that prints off after you make a particular purchase. Considering you usually use these to buy more items that become free- this can become like a revolving credit at that store.
SCR- Single Check Rebate. When you buy certain items- the store will reimburse you for those items by signing up at the stores rebate center online- entering your receipt # and store # and then they will mail you a check for those items every month. It's SOOOO easy- and an awesome way to get free shampoo, medicine, etc.

Just so you know Walgreens has these items free after rebate this month. Which means if you have a coupon- you make a profit on those items!

The best part about it is you can print many of these coupons off right here. I put the link for the printables back to the original sources I got them from because many sites get profit for people printing off from their computer and using them- so I feel it's my little way to give back to these sites for giving me so much.

I hope this wasn't too confusing- and let me know if you have questions!
