TGIF fridays and restaurants

I never know what kinds of deals others like to hear about- because everyone is different. For example my husband LOVES it when I find electronics deals- which happens a lot on spoofee which is why I look at that site. (newegg.com is also another good site to find low priced electronics FYI) I LOVE grocery deals, and I can't eat out unless I have a coupon. (Yes, my family makes fun of me a lot for this.) So here's the deal, if you send me a deal that you want everyone to know about- I will post it on here.

JcbMyHntz just sent me this one from TGI fridays. It's a BOGO (buy one get one free) appetizer that you can print off your computer and use right this second if you wanted. TGI fridays is actually doing a lot of aggressive marketing right now, and so I have seen many great deals there over the past three months. My only hang up is I don't know the food well so I don't know what to get. Maybe you guys can help introduce me to some of your favs.

Pretty much one of my favorite things ever is the Applebee's sample platter. And since they do half off appetizers after 9Pm there Monday-Thursday (thanks Tara for alerting me to this.) it's like a built in coupon for me if I'm craving the sample platter. (So I get this like 4 or 5 times a year, not that much, but it pretty much is the best ever. Especially if you substitute the wings for the boneless honey BBQ ones... mmm craving coming on right now. Anyone want to join me tonight?)

Restaurant.com is also another favorite of mine. And they just added some new restaurants on there in the Provo area which is exciting because they have mainly had Salt Lake area restaurants for the past year. They just got Smokehouse at both the Orem and Provo locations and Gloria's Little Italy. Of course as I post this they are completely out of gift certificates to those right now, but at the beginning of the month they restock them and you can nab some of your own. I'll remind you then. $25 certificates for $10- or actually I usually spend $2 on these $25 certificates. I'll let you in on my secret a little later.

So if you have a good deal you want someone to know about, let me know in an email or a comment and I'll try to get it posted as soon as I get the message. You guys rock!

  1. The coupon is actually for an entree not an appetizer.
