This is my city library's summer happenings- but you can check your local library and see what things are going on for you! I love our library though, it's beautiful and always has amazing things going on.
Summer Reading Program- Info to Go for kids ages 0-12.
Registration starts Saturday May 30th and goes until June 27th. Reading logs and T-shirts will be given at registration while supplies last.
Informational Challenge- May 30-July 31st
Read at least four nonfiction books during summer reading and mark them on your reading log to receive a ticket to the Ronald McDonald Magic Show
Canopy Capers every Tuesday and Thursday in June and July from 12-12:30 PM
Storytelling for families. Bring your lunch, pillows, and blankets!
Summer Story Time- every Wednesday in June and July from 9:30-10:00 AM and 10:30-11:00 AM for toddlers, and their caregivers in the story circle.
Spanish Story Time every Monday in June and July at 7:00- 7:30 in the story circle for families.
Summer Book Babies- every Wednesday in June and July from 11:30 AM- 12:00 noon. Age appropriate stories, songs and finger plays for babies (0-12 months) and their caregivers in the Story Circle.
Summer Crafts and Science- June 9th- July 23rd.
Classes meet 9:30-10:30 AM or 11:00-12:00 noon Tuesday through Thursday. Pre-registration is required, along with a fee of $2.50 per class per participant. Pre-registration begins May 30th.
Tuesdays- Stories and Crafts (ages 5-12)
Wednesdays- Stories and Crafts 9:30 AM (ages 5-12)
Thursdays- Science Adventures (ages 8-12)
Tuesdays - (5:00-6:00 PM) Spanish stories and Crafts (for families)
End of Summer Reading Party Thursday July 30th- 8:30-10:00 PM, for those who finished the summer reading program.
