Walgreens

So does anyone feel like they're living at Walgreens this week and the cashiers are becoming your new best friends? JK but really, they are having some sweet sales this week.

Mylanta is on clearance for about $2 a bottle. In the March ES (easy saver) catalogue which they have up at the register there is a $2 off Mylanta coupon, and you could also use the the $2/1 coupon here to get it for free for sure!

Here's a Walgreens policy tip:

Sometimes if the amount of the coupon is over the amount of what the product costs, the cashier will tell you he/she can't take the coupon. (This happened to me this week.) Ask them to manually key in the coupon price up to the price of what the item costs. (So Ritz crackers cost .99- your coupon is for $1- the computer won't take the coupon- but they can manually enter in .99 for the coupon.) Some stores only allow managers to price adjust the coupons, and that's fine, just ask to speak to a manager. If you still have a problem, and the manager tells you they can't do this, smile tell them you don't want the item, call their corporate office when you get home and let them know what is going on at your local Walgreens. This is in Walgreens policy to allow price adjusting of coupons, and some stores have some creative couponing policies that don't match their corporate policies.

Remember! A coupon is as good as money to the store. You're not ripping the store off by using a coupon, you're giving them a different form of money. They get back every cent of what you use with a coupon. If you're getting something for free with a coupon, the store still gets money out of it, so feel confident that you're helping EVERYONE by using coupons.

1. Yourself because you're getting a great deal
2. The store because they still get money for the transaction
3. Others that you help by donating items you have purchased at such low prices you can afford to give more

Good luck!
