Welcome to A Steal of a Deal! This is where I post all the deals I get, food storage advice or really anything that saves me money I will try to pass that knowledge on to you! Already to my right there are my money saving links that I access everyday, and maybe I'll try for one month to give a daily money saving tip, or help to navigating money saving sites. (Sometimes that's all that's stopping people from using these FANTASTIC resources)

My tip today is telling you where I generally look for my deals- so you can know I really don't just cruise around the web looking for sales all the live long day. I start at Spoofee.com because they just post one list of web deals daily and that gives me a good overview of what's out there for the day. I also like how they mention if the deals are hot or mediocre or better than average. Then I go to pinching your pennies and click on the forums link from their first page. I browse screaming deals online, screaming deals around town and screaming grocery deals by state probably everyday. The rest of forums can be fun too- but I usually stick here because they produce the most deals for me. (Remember when you're looking at forums to check out the date of the post- and the most recent posts were actually made at the back of the thread- not the front. So if there are 13 pages of posts on a thread- the last page- 13 will have the most recent relevant post.) I'm telling you this so you don't look at a deal and try to get it and find out later it expired three years ago. No joke! I then look at the freebie blogger- she usually has some other good ideas I haven't seen in any of the forums or on spoofee. This overview can easily take me a mere 15 minutes. When I look at grocery deals a little more in depth it can be longer, and i can get distracted and spend much more time than this on the sites- but in general it can be a very quick experience.

I hope this site can be of worth to you- because so many have helped me stretch my budget to the max- I really want to be able to help you. Good luck!
