  1. FYI - when I tried using the coupons at the Provo Walgreens they wouldn't accept them on the candles because they were $.01 less than the coupons and wouldn't price adjust the coupons :S I was able to do it the last time they released these $4 Glade coupons so I don't know what the problem was this time. Do you know what Walgreens corporate policy is on price adjusting coupons?

  2. Amber,
I actually just tried to do the exact same thing and they wouldn't let me do it as well at that same location. So I asked to speak to the manager, and the manager said his boss told him that they couldn't price adjust coupons anymore, and it's a new coupon policy. I smiled and told him I would be calling Corporate to check if their official coupon policy has changed storewide and I left. When I called corporate a few weeks ago about a similar coupon problem at that exact same store- they told me the corporate policy was for the manager to price adjust the coupon and it wasn't a problem at all, and they would re-train the store and it would be good to go. So it looks like the store has been doing it for about a month and then the manager decided to do his own coupon policy again without consulting corporate. I just called the corporate office- and they were closed, but I left a message and will let you know if the coupon policy has changed, or if the provo Walgreens just needs to get retrained again. I will do a whole post about their coupon policy tomorrow when I hear back from them.

  3. Thanks - you're awesome!!!!! Have you ever gone to the Springville store? If the Provo one continues to be difficult, I may just go to the one in Springville when I go to Walmart down there.

  4. The Springville Walgreens is fantastic, except I haven't been there in awhile, because of the construction going on the road between the Walmart and Walgreens. I think it's 400 S. You can't get to the freeway from that street anymore, and my husband works across the freeway there, so I would used to drop him off at work, and then hit up that Walgreens and go home, but now it's too far out of the way to go around. So you could try to go to Walgreens from the Sprinville Walmart, but it is WAY out of the way now.
