  1. I love jicama. It has the texture of a potato except juicier. I has a pea pod taste. You can eat it raw or sliver it (long thin strips like french fries) and put it in a salad. I have never heard of cooking it. But my Grandma loved it and always taught me, "Those who try more things are happier." I recommend trying it.

  2. The one and only time I had jicama was on a sandwhich from paradise bakery --- DELISH! It added the perfect texture. I loved it so much I went home and googled it. I haven't used it or eaten it since, but I liked it!

  3. I love jicama too. It's crunchy and juicy and slightly sweet. It's a larger roundish ball with light brown skin and white flesh. I like to juliane it and eat it with dip. I've had it on sandwiches too and it's tasty.

  5. Did you need me to get some stuff for you? Maybe when you come into town we can have a little play date or something. :)

  6. O.k. clan, I'm going to try it out, and maybe I'll drop some off to you Spanns so you can try it on your own sandwich.
