Walgreens Register Rewards (RR)!

Walgreens is the place to be this week! The cashiers probably think I'm a little crazy stocking up on crackers, toothpaste and soaps, but especially when it's free you have no reason not to!

My previous post talked about the steals on toothpaste, crackers and shampoo/conditioner at Walgreens this week. The newest RR deal has to do with Dove products. When you buy 8 dove products at Walgreens you get $10 back in RR. The rest of the country had Dove soap on sale this week for .99, but Utah didn't, so I was trying to figure out how to make it work, and then Hip2Save tried it on the trial sizes of soap and deodorant and it worked! So I did it this morning and it worked like a charm.

I bought 6 trial size dove soap at .99 each (that's all they had at my store)
and 2 things of regular soap at $1.39 each.

They also have Children's Pepto Bismal tablets on clearance for $1.59- and when you buy 3 of them you get $8 back in RR.
They were out of those at my Walgreens, but they had a small bottle of Pepto Bismal normally $3.99, on clearance for .88- so I snagged that instead.

8 dove soaps and 1 pepto bismal- $10.24, I got back $10 in RR- pretty much free! Especially if I hadn't gotten the pepto bismal.

Now if you use the $10 dove RR you got to do another dove transaction it probably won't spit you out another $10 RR, but you can use the RR from the toothpaste for it, and you could use the dove $10 RR for the diaper transaction that will start next week.

This catalina deal goes until March 28th, so don't get too frustrated if it isn't there the next time you're in Walgreens. Just check back and try again later. I'm going to try it with the deodorant and also use $1.50/2 dove deodorant coupon from 1/18 RP to make it an even sweeter deal! (They were out of the trial size dove deodorant priced at .99 when I got there today.) The best part is we are pretty stocked on soap- so this soap is going to our food bank! Yeah for helping other people!
