Walgreens 3/30-4/4

***UPDATE***It looks like the softsoap isn't rolling anymore. That means you can buy the softsoap body wash with the $1 coupon and it will print off one coupon for free bodywash, and then if you buy another one with it, another free soap won't print out. So it's a buy one get one free deal right now.

Walgreens is pretty amazing again this week/month. (The pictures are some of the things I'm getting from free or close to free this week/month). I think they are letting people down slowly with their ending the Easy Saver program in May, and giving us some AMAZING deals to help us not even miss it. (That means if it's free all month and they're out of when you go, don't fret! Life is still great, just check when your store restocks and go when they have restocked. I like to go the second or third week of the sale on their restock day because by then they are anticipating the volume of how much they need, and they have plenty of it at that point. Which is good because my husband ONLY lets me get Edge Infused shave gel, so you better believe I'll be stocking up!)

Crazy amazing cereal sale at Albies!

EVERYONE should try to snag this deal as soon as they can! Albertsons had an in the Sunday paper that stated select varieties of Post cereal were on sale for $2.07. (There was a time where I thought $2 for a box of cereal was a pretty good deal.) Now here's the awesome part!

When you buy 2 boxes of Post cereal you get $1 off making them $1.57

AND

When you buy 5 boxes of Post cereal you get a $5 catalina good On Your Next Shoppping Order! (OYNSO, I hope people are starting to understand what that means, let me know if you're still lost on that term)

That means it works best to buy 6 boxes of cereal in one transaction and each box will end up being .74 WITHOUT COUPONS!!!!!
If you factor in the coupons that are out there for it
Post Selects Cereals, any $1/2 (4-12-09) SS-3/1
Post Shredded Wheat, Raisin Bran, Grape-Nuts Nuggets or Flakes, any 10 oz. or larger boxes $1/2 (5-10-09) SS-3/29

Your cereal ends up being .24 each! That's my pricepoint for cereal! And this is delicious and healthy cereal too like Post Selects, Honey nut and other shredded wheat, grape nuts, raisen bran, etc.

Also if your store carried Grape Nuts Trail mix cereal- you can also use this printable $2 off coupon- making the deal EVEN SWEETER!

Good luck!

Thanks Shelly at PYP!!!

BOGO Papa Johns pizza!

I LOVE Papa Johns breadsticks and pizza. I tried it the breadsticks for the first time with my starving student card in college, and I have to admit it was one of the first times in my life that I have gotten something for free that I thought I am going to have to get these again, EVEN if they aren't on sale. Their pizzas although higher priced are higher quality and just delicious. Although of course you know me, I still wouldn't buy it at the full price, so here's a deal for you!

Free bowling for kids!

This deal isn't available in Utah, but I had to post it for my out of state readers, because it's too good to pass up (and maybe you can use it on one of your summer trips)!

Your child can get two games of free bowling EVERYDAY this summer at select bowling centers. Click here to find participating locations and to sign up.

They also offer The Family Pass which costs $23.95 and includes 2 GAMES PER PERSON PER DAY. The Family Pass is $23.95 and covers up to 4 adult family members. If you have 1 or 4 for family members on the pass, it is still $23.95 for the entire summer. The children do not go on the Family Pass. You can have 6 children bowl for free and then 4 adults on the Family Pass for $23.95. This one-time payment covers up to 4 adults for the entire summer.

This is FANTASTIC, some of the locations are even starting this program in April! Maybe they will offer it in Utah next summer...

Borders coupon!

Borders has this 40% off the list price of one item coupon good through March 28th! I love high value coupons like these. Have fun with it, maybe date night with your honey. Bookstore dates are the best!

Town Hall for Hope- Dave Ramsey

Thfh

With all of the pessimism and the world is going to end type talk in the world today, it's good to hear someone talking about HOPE!
On April 23, 2009 at 8 PM EDT, Dave Ramsey will be hosting a free nationwide Town Hall for Hope:

Town Hall for Hope is your opportunity to sit down with people in your community for a nationwide town hall meeting led by Dave Ramsey. Thousands of venues across the country will host the event, broadcasting Dave's live presentation. In the opening half hour, Dave will offer straight talk about the economy, recession, foreclosures and more. He'll carefully explain where we've come from, where we are now, and what we should be doing with our money during this time. Then, Dave will spend an hour answering your questions live!

Dave Ramsey is GREAT! I just started getting into watching his talk show on Hulu, and he's so motivating! Check him out yourself.

You can go here to find which venues will be hosting him, and here if you want to get involved with spreading the word and join the discussion.

Old Navy Weekly coupons!

For those of you that don't know the fun of the Old Navy Weekly site, hopefully you will soon get to know it! Every week they offer coupons that you have to hunt around the mannequins for and then once you do find one and click on it, you can accept it and they will send you the printable coupon to your email. (Or you can reject it and keep looking.) The past few weeks there have been super high value coupons like $75 off $100 purchase and $50 off $100 purchase, but last night they didn't update their site with any of those because they were working out glitches in the system, and they can't handle the high volume that generates yet.

However they do still have 30% off coupons for single items and entire purchases!

The 30% off your entire purchase is by the mannequin with the dog and when a dolphin jumps behind them and splashes in the water then you click on the water where the dolphin jumped in and the coupon pops up. (The dolphin only jumps behind them randomly.)

The 30% off coupon on a single item is located on the boys swim shorts. Scroll through the bottom left under more fabulous finds and you'll see the shorts.

Next week I hear the high value $75 off $100 coupons will be back, and the server shouldn't go down this time because they were working out the glitches that happened last time, so next week could be our Old Navy Weekly Party hunt! That doesn't quite have a ring to it but I'm still excited they are offering them again.

Betty Crocker, Pillsbury and Box Tops coupons and registration

Boxtops for Education

It looks like our Eat Better America, Pillsbury and Betty Crocker booklets are not available for the time being. (Sorry to let you guys know about it so late! I didn't know they were still offering them until yesterday, and then of course that's when they decide to pull the campaign.) I will also let you know the moment I find out when they're offering new coupon booklets. However you can still sign up for coupons and recipes that Pillsbury, Better Crocker, Dinner Made Easy, and Box Tops for Education can email you. (If you're already signed up, you don't need to sign up again.)

I like having these emails because they give me cool recipes to try with the cheap food I'm getting with their coupons. Just yesterday I made the most delicious Tuna Casserole with biscuits on top, mmmm definitely a 5 star- I like how they have ratings on their recipes too just like Allrecipes, so you can know which to avoid and which to try. AND I also love getting items with Box Tops for Education points on them, because I feel I'm supporting my school by cutting them off the package and turning them into my local elementary school . If you don't really want one more email in your inbox, that's totally fine too, you can still sign up with them and opt out of the emails and then whenever I or PYP directs you to those sites to print off a coupon, you're already signed up! (You have to be signed up at these sites to print coupons from them.) Start saving money and getting recipe ideas today!

Health Food Coupons!

As a coupon user I get a lot of people telling me "I don't use coupons because they are only for processed foods that we don't eat anyway". True, there are coupons out there for hamburger helper, brownie mixes, and pizza rolls. However there are plenty of coupons for frozen veggies, healthy cereals- like total or fiber one, smart balance butter, olive oil, canned foods like fruits, veggies and condensed soups, fruit in a cup, yogurt- I could go on and on and on. There's even a dole fresh pineapple printable coupon for $.75/1 off right now! Go to my new coupon sidebar, click on see all coupons, then scroll down to near the bottom, select the pineapple and print it off without even having to leave this site. (Or if it's easier just click on it to go to the coupon site and print it from there.)
(Tangental deal sidenote: There's also a Dry Idea deodorant coupon there for $2 off one deodorant. Some Walgreens have these on clearance for $2.29- so you can snag some great deodorant for $.29! Tangental deal sidenote completed.)

That being said there are a few but not many organic coupons out there. I hear you when you say eating organic is good, but SO EXPENSIVE! If your budget is already an organic budget, this site might help you whittle down your expenses. (And if you ever wanted to try, this might make it a little more feasible.) It's called Mambo Sprouts and it's dedicated to organic eaters like you! They even offer 3 pages of free printable coupons for organic items- have a heyday organic eaters!

Also go over here to fill out your information and print off a $5 coupon for any Glucerna product. Their cereal runs about that price or less, so it's free! Remember to push your browers back button to print it off twice!

Grocery deals!

You can check out the PYP grocery smarts lists for Smiths and Albies yourself, but here are a few deals I'm grabbing that aren't posted there, and you can snag if you signed up for and received the Eat Better America, Betty Crocker and Pillsbury coupon/recipe books, and print off a few more things yourself.

Albies - Kellogs cereal deal!
Buy 3 cereals get 1 gallon free milk!
Buy 5 cereals get 2 gallons free milk!
Buy 7 cereals get 3 gallons free milk!
((The free milk comes in the form of a catalina that will print out at the register once you pay for your items.)

Use 3 Kellogg’s Cereal, any flavor 10 oz. or larger .70/1 (4-5-09) RP-2/22
Leaving you with 3 boxes of cereal plus a free gallon of milk for just under $3- awesome!

(Be careful though to get the cereal that is 3 for $5- the other Kelloggs cereal will trigger the catalina- but $2.50 or more for a box of cereal? Not a good deal, even with the free milk.)

Smiths : Here comes the fun! (This is where I'll be this week!)

Pillsbury Refrigerated Pizza Crust or Grands Biscuits are on sale $1.25
When you buy 4 $1 automatically comes off your total. (That's why Smith's sales are SO easy!)
Use 3 Pillsbury Italian Meal Breads, any .40/1 (4-18-09) SS-1/25 (The pizza crust is in the picture, so these count!)
Use 1 Pillsbury Italian Meal Beads, any $1/1 from the Eat Better America booklet
Final price? $1.80 for 4, which makes them $.45 each! These are delicious by the way!

Cow Pals string cheese- on sale for $3.99- but many people have been finding them for $2.99 even better! For a pack of 24, this makes them 8/$1

Whopper's Robin Eggs or Jolly Rancher Jelly Beans Easter candy on sale for $1.50 PLUS get $1 off a dozen eggs when you buy (WYB) 3 in one transaction. (Up to $2 off, which means since eggs are on sale this week for $1 you can get two dozen for free!)
Get three bags of Robin Eggs and a carton of eggs
Use $1.50 off 3 bags of Hershey candy printable here
Total for 3 bags of Easter candy and one dozen eggs-$3!
(update! This is a correction from what I posted earlier, still a great deal!)

The Trop50 was included with the Tropicana sale, at $2.39 this morning. There is a $1/1 printable here, making it $1.39 for 64 oz- which is definitely a 5 star price. They also have Kroger half gallon of OJ for $1 if you wanted to stock up on more OJ this week.

Kroger 10 oz tortilla chips for $1- my husband wanted me to put that, because he likes chips, and that's a pretty good price.

Green Giant Big Sauce Vegetables 12-24 oz are on sale for $1.99
Use the $1/1 Green Giant Vegetables 19-24 oz size coupon found in the Eat Better America booklet, making them $1 for a lot of veggies.

They also have a Quaker sale going on if you need some more oatmeal or life cereal for about $1 a box after buying 4 and getting $4 off instantly and with coupons.

Now don't beat yourself up if you didn't know there were even coupon/recipe booklets out there. Here's your chance to get at least two of these $10 coupon booklets for free! They're awesome, and I have gotten some free or almost free items with these, including frozen veggies, cereal, biscuits and yummy treats. You should receive them in the mail in the next few weeks after signing up.

***UPDATE*** It looks like both of these booklets are out of stock. You can still sign up for the better crocker dinner made easy group though, and get free printable groceries and recipes sent to your email!***

Wilson pink bat and mit $9.99 shipped!

Buy.com is offering the Wilson Girls T-Ball Glove & Bat Bundle for $9.99. It also qualifies for free shipping! This is so cute, and would be perfect for the T-ball season that is upon us. I did enjoy my seven years of T-ball/baseball/softball- although now I can't throw a ball for some reason to my husband's dismay, I can still catch and hit most balls. (And even beat my husband at the batting cages!) All of that to say your daughter might love to try out some T-ball, and with a pink matching glove and bat she might be even more motivated!

(Be careful on Buy.com with free shipping. It automatically chooses the expensive shipping, and so you have to switch it to the budget saver shipping, and it can be tricky to find sometimes.)

Girls Gourmet Ice Cream Sandwich Maker!

Amazon is offering the Girls Gourmet Ice Cream Sandwich Maker for $3.92!

Girl Gourmet Ice Cream Sandwich Maker Circles Mold
The Girl Gourmet Ice Cream Sandwich Maker is the newest and coolest way to make ice cream sandwiches. Comes with a combo mold, cutter and press, 2 cookies mixes, 1 Spoon, 1 Bowl and recipe cards. (Really the cool part is just the combo mold, cutter and press)

This is a steal! I used ones similar to these at a neighbors house years ago and had so much fun with them I asked where I could get my own. She had bought hers from the Williams Sonoma company for $10, and hadn't seen anymore since then. It also qualifies for free super saver shipping, so add $21.08 in other goods, and you'll be good to go.

Other steals on Amazon right now to get up to $25 for free super saver shipping:
Buy 7 of them for birthday gifts and your total will be $27.44 (I seriously think this would make an awesome wedding present too!)
Buy the Wii My Fitness Coach for $19.99 and 2 ice cream sandwich makers for $27.83. (See my previous post on the My Fitness Coach here. I just bought mine yesterday!)
Buy 2 Thomas the Train dvds + 2 Thomas trains for $7.49 each and 3 ice cream sandwich makers for $26.74. (My previous post on the trains is here.)

But hurry! You never know how long these kind of deals last, or how long they will be in stock!
